It has taken a while, but I’ve just completed the first of an occasional series of podcasts, and you’re welcome to use up eighteen minutes lending it your ears!

This blog will remain my cancer-and-life blog, while the podcasts will cover interesting things that come up as the zeitgeist rolls on, my antennae twitch and the right day comes for putting together another podcast.

This is about my experiences as an Aspie with cancer. Myeloma or bone marrow cancer. (Amongst other things it makes my teeth fall out!)

To some people I'm an interesting veteran oddbod with a way of seeing things and saying it that rings bells and lights up lightbulbs.

Nowadays, partially disabled, I'm doing blogs and podcasts from the organic farm where I live, down'ere in West Penwith, at the far end of Cornwall, in the southwest of the islands of Britain.

I've done some stuff over the decades. This blog shares special moments and fascinating snippets about all that, with observations on life and the world, as things look from here. And the owls down in the woods, or the swallows in the barn, crop up now and then too.

I'm Palden Jenkins, a polymath living in the far west of Cornwall, UK.

My life has now changed, thanks to cancer.

My interests are wide-ranging and this last phase of life has brought a new perspective on life and death and everything in between, underneath and high above.
