Past and Future

Pods from the Far Beyond: number two

My second podcast is out now. It’s all about bringing together the past with the future. 18 minutes long. I hope it brings a few gems for you.

About this blog

This is about my experiences as an Aspie with cancer. Myeloma or bone marrow cancer.

To some people I'm an interesting veteran oddbod with a way of seeing things and saying it that rings bells and lights up lightbulbs.

Nowadays, partially disabled, I'm doing blogs and podcasts from the organic farm where I live, down'ere in West Penwith, at the far end of Cornwall, in the southwest of the islands of Britain.

I've done lots over the decades. This blog shares special moments and fascinating snippets about all that, with observations on life and the state of the world, as things look from here. And the owls down in the woods, or the swallows in the barn...

If it lifts you up, welcome to Notes from the Far Beyond. It lifts me up to write it.

Love from me, Palden.

All photos are by me, and photos of me are by Lynne Speight, Penny Cornell and others.

About Palden

I'm Palden Jenkins, and I live in the far west of Cornwall, UK.

My life has now changed, thanks to cancer.

My interests are wide-ranging and this last phase of life has brought a new perspective on life and death and everything in between and around them.

Author of eleven books and founder of three community educational projects, throughout life I've been an ongoing source of original and rather profound ideas and initiatives.

I've worked as an editor and webmaster, humanitarian peacemaker, counsellor and adviser, event organiser, teacher and speaker. Mainly. Things like that.

My various websites are at palden.co.uk, ancientpenwith.org and possibilities2050.org
